The Municipality is fortunate to have a few businesses in Center Township who are willing to help with Donated services. Those are as follows. Amos Brubaker, Advanced Concrete, Richard's Excavating and United Stone Veneer. Thank you for your willingness to help with money and donated materials and equipment. Also, Volunteer services by the Penns Creek Ball Association will be a tremendous help when construction gets started as well as the in-kind service of our employees.
(A partnership has taken place between Adams Township and Center Township. Adams Township Supervisors will give a one time donation of $5,000.00 in return Center Township and The Penns Creek Ball Association will commit to helping out in the future upkeep of their Troxelville ball feild when needed.)
ANY DONATIONS TO CENTER TOWNSHIP FOR THE PUBLIC PARK IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE, THIS QUALIFIES AS A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION SINCE IT IS A PUBLIC RECREATION FACILITY.
We just completed a Hoagie Sale fund raiser. Our profit was around 268.00. We are hoping to do another Chinese Auction this year, since that is usually a good fund raiser for us.
If anyone in the community has any fund raising ideas please call!!
Volunteering is just one way to get involved in your township; attending meetings is another. How much time you give is entirely up to you. Keene Community Park will be done in 3 phases. Donating your time and services will help in the process in many ways.
"Do all you can with what you have, in the time you have, in the place you are." Now, don't you have a phone call to make?
